Between Silence and Courage: Two decades of press freedom in Colombia (Editorial Planeta)

On April 24, 2012, during the Book Fair of Bogota, the Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP, for its acronym in spanish), presented the book: “Between Silence and Courage: Two decades of press freedom in Colombia” (Editorial Planeta).

The book contains a series of articles written by Ignacio Gómez  sub-director of the UNO News and chairman of the FLIP), María Teresa Ronderos (director of Verdad Abierta), Marta Ruiz (editorial consultant for Semana), Fernando Ramírez (news editor of La Patria), and Andrés Morales (director of  FLIP); which go trough the stories that have affected journalism and press freedom in Colombia during the last 20 years, and highlight the initiatives taken by journalism to be able to continue fulfilling its mission to inform.
